Connected stages

A shared record at every hand-off.

Follow the request through six clear stages. The product keeps estimates and client decisions connected to delivery and financial records.

  1. Client and studio

    Request

Capture the requested change and the outcome the client needs.

  2. Studio

    Estimate

The studio estimates the work in story points and shares the proposed scope.

  3. Client

    Approve

The client reviews and approves or rejects the estimate.

  4. Developer

    Deliver

The team tracks the approved work through delivery.

  5. Client

    Sign off

The client records whether the completed work is accepted.

  6. Studio

    Settle

The studio invoices the client. Developer earnings move through their own payable and payout records.

Two financial records

Client invoice settlement is separate from developer payout settlement.

Maintanix records what a client owes on an invoice separately from earnings allocated to a developer. A client payment does not itself mean that a developer payout has settled.
